2. Historic Part D Price Negotiations
2026 marks a historic shift: for the first time, the federal government has directly negotiated lower prices for 10 of the most expensive and commonly prescribed drugs under Medicare Part D. This list includes major blood thinners and diabetes medications like Eliquis, Jardiance, and Xarelto. If you take these medications, your out-of-pocket costs are now legally capped at much lower levels.
